SKU 8DI8R-IThe module with control via a 2-wire RS485 line allows controlling 8 relays via the Modbus RTU protocol, reading the state of 8 discrete opto-isolated inputs, storing and reading the readings of 2 counters (event counters at inputs 1 and 2).
Updates in version 2.1:
• memory lifespan increased to 100 trillion counter events and 151 years of data retention by using FRAM (ferromagnetic memory) to store counter values;
• complete galvanic isolation of the RS485 line;
• protection against overvoltage and overcurrent of the RS485 line;
• complete optical isolation of inputs;
• circuitry and firmware updated.
